Property and Leasing Officer

Education Business Services (EBS) provides professional business services and operational support to Western Australian public schools, statutory boards and Department divisions across finance, information and communication technologies (ICT) and infrastructure. EBS is committed to delivering responsive, flexible, transparent, accountable and collaborative services that strengthen organisational capability and support the delivery of high-quality education outcomes.

Within EBS, the Infrastructure Division is responsible for the planning, provision and management of educational facilities, including land planning, asset management, capital works and maintenance programs. The Infrastructure Operations Directorate supports schools through property management, lease and shared-use arrangements, security and emergency management, environmental services and management of the WA Schools Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract.

The Role

Infrastructure Operations manages a large and diverse portfolio of properties. The portfolio varies in both the complexity of the arrangements and the types of use of the property. In this role, you will manage the establishment, renewal, variation, extension and surrender of departmental property leases and licences, ensuring compliance with lease conditions, policies and regulatory requirements.
