Role description

Teacher of French (Early Learning to Year 3)

Fixed-Term (12 months)

Part-Time (0.43 FTE)

Commencing Term 4, 2026 (or earlier by mutual agreement)

The Geelong College is seeking a well-qualified and passionate educator to join our Junior School Campus as a Teacher of French (EL to Year 3). 

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver dynamic and engaging language learning experiences aligned with the Victorian Curriculum within a collaborative and supportive environment that values innovation, student wellbeing and academic excellence. 

The successful applicant will contribute to the pastoral life of the College and actively support the Christian ethos of the School. 


Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must demonstrate the following:

  • Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
  • Relevant educational qualification and experience in a similar teaching role 
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teachers (VIT) registration
  • Current Certifications in: 
    • First Aid (HLTAID011)
    • CPR (HTLAID 009)
    • Asthma Management
  • Completion of either: 
    • The College's anaphylaxis training, or
    • Accredited course: 22578VIC - Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
