About the Role

St Charbel’s College is seeking a passionate and skilled Diverse Learning Teacher to join our dedicated Diverse Learning team.

In this role, you will balance direct student support with staff capacity building, championing inclusive practice across the College. You will be a key advocate for students with disability and additional learning needs, working collaboratively with families, classroom teachers, Teacher Aides, and external practitioners to deliver meaningful, personalised outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation and review of Individual Learning Plans in collaboration with staff, students and parents/carers.
  • Support teachers and departments with differentiation, reasonable adjustments and collaborative curriculum planning. Co-teach with classroom teachers where appropriate.
  • Contribute to small group tuition programs and share effective practice within the Diverse Learning team.
  • Coordinate exam provisions (including NAPLAN and Minimum Standards) ensuring consistent, appropriate support for diverse learning students.
  • Collaborate to ensure supports are planned, implemented and documented in accordance with the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated learning experiences for all students
  • Integrate Maronite Catholic ethos, values, and Gospel teachings into daily learning and school life
