About the Role

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care team. Our OSHC Educators play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of the Service team and in partnership with the College and Approved Provider to maintain high standards of education and care.
  • Contribute positively to team culture, demonstrating enthusiasm, flexibility, and collaboration.
  • Support the preparation, organisation, and pack up of resources and environments.
  • Build respectful relationships with families and the wider community, encouraging engagement, supporting communication, and responding to diverse needs.
  • Follow the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS), contribute to continuous improvement processes, and support Quality Improvement Plan and assessment requirements.

What You Bring

  • No qualification required but would be looked on favourably.
  • Previous experience looking after children in a structured setting would be looked on favourably.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the developmental, social, and wellbeing needs of school-aged children.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements applicable to OSHC services, including work health and safety obligations.
