We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teachers’ Aide (K–6) to support student learning and wellbeing within our Junior School. This is a temporary part-time position, working two days per week for a six-month period.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the Teachers’ Aide works collaboratively with classroom teachers and Learning Support staff to support students with diverse learning needs.


This role is integral to the delivery of personalised learning programmes and contributes to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation of personalised learning plans under the direction of the classroom teacher
  • Working with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning outcomes
  • Assisting with structured literacy and teacher-designed programmes (e.g. MultiLit)
  • Preparing learning materials for students with additional needs
  • Providing feedback to the Learning Support Coordinator on student progress
  • Undertaking general administrative duties, including photocopying, filing and document preparation
