Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner – Operations to support the financial stewardship, sustainability and success of our schools across Tasmania.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will provide expert financial support, analysis and guidance to Principals, Business Managers and school leaders. Your work will help ensure sound financial management, effective governance, regulatory compliance and informed decision-making across our system.
Beyond the numbers, you will contribute to a purpose-driven organisation committed to supporting learning and educational excellence for students throughout Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist financial advice and support for school budgeting, forecasting and planning.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying risks, trends and opportunities.
- Support accurate and compliant financial operations, reporting and reconciliations.
- Promote consistent application of CET financial policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
- Assist schools in the effective use of financial systems and reporting tools, including TechnologyOne.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles for schools and the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office (TCEO).
