About the Role
The Deputy Principal is the second educational leader of the school and works in close partnership with the Principal to advance the school's vision, strategic priorities and Catholic mission.
St Mary's has intentionally designed its leadership model to maximise educational leadership while ensuring efficient school operations.
The Deputy Principal is allocated 0.6 FTE leadership release, incorporating responsibility for the portfolios of:
- Learning and Teaching
- Assessment and Reporting
- Student Wellbeing
The role is complemented by a dedicated 0.4 FTE Administration Coordinator, who provides leadership across administration and school operations, including staffing, communications, timetabling support and organisational systems.
