Position Information
Birraleegal Goondi Preschool is an Aboriginal identified preschool with a strong connection to our local community. It is part of the P-6 Walgett Connected Community Primary School and is an essential foundation to our formal education K-6. The preschool implements the SWAY program which develops Sounds, Words and Yarning to provide early speech intervention and phonemic awareness. This program runs in parallel to our Early Years Learning Framework. The successful candidate will need to work with local community groups and families to encourage and strengthen Aboriginal student participation in the program as per the Connected Community Strategy.
