Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus is a diverse and inclusive middle school (Year 7-10) with a current enrolment of 834 students, comprising selective and comprehensive streams alongside support classes for autism and physical disabilities. Located on the harbour foreshore at Rozelle, the school leverages its stunning waterfront setting to offer distinctive programs including kayaking, rowing, and foreshore-based academic enrichment, while delivering a broad and innovative curriculum encompassing subjects such as Philosophy, Marine Biology, Psychology, and STEM. Sydney Secondary College is a diverse and inclusive multi-campus setting in the inner west, comprising of two Year 7 - 10 campuses (Leichhardt and Balmain) and one Year 11 - 12 campus (Blackwattle Bay). Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus has a current enrolment of 801 students. The College enrolment is over 2400 students with 87 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 38% having a Language Background other than English. The Support Teacher Transition (STT) position is a specialist role that assists secondary students in regular and special school settings, their parents and carers, educational services and school personnel with the transition process.
