Position Information
Hume Public School, located in Lavington on Wiradjuri Country near the NSW/Victorian border, is a dynamic and inclusive school community of 212 students. Our vibrant student body includes 40% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and 20% from EAL/D backgrounds.
Alongside our preschool and mainstream classes, this unit provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students in our Multi-Categorical (MC), Moderate/Severe Intellectual (IO/IS) and Early Intervention classes—all situated within the mainstream school grounds. Our staff collaborate closely within the unit and with mainstream colleagues to deliver high-quality, inclusive educational experiences grounded in best practices.
