Working across a diverse portfolio of schools and business units, you'll manage complex employee relations matters, conduct investigations, resolve workplace issues, and contribute to strategic workforce initiatives that strengthen organisational capability.About youYou're an experienced employment or industrial relations professional who thrives on building strong relationships and providing practical, solutions-focused advice. You enjoy partnering with leaders, navigating complex workplace matters and balancing legislative compliance with positive people outcomes.You'll bring:Significant experience in employment relations, industrial relations or HR business partnering within a complex organisation.Demonstrated experience managing investigations, grievances, performance matters and workplace disputes from end to end.Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreements and industrial relations frameworks.Exceptional coaching, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.Strong analytical skills and the ability to use workforce data to identify trends and inform decision-making.High levels of professionalism, resilience, integrity and discretion when managing sensitive matters.Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Law or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.Townsville Catholic Education has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
