Role description
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Teacher to work 1:1 with a Junior Primary student, providing tailored play-based and inclusion support.
Key Responsibilities:
1:1 support for a Junior Primary student with complex needs
Delivery of a play-based, student-led curriculum
Support classroom transitions and participation
Implement adjustments and personalised learning plans
Maintain strong, respectful relationships with families and allied professionals
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Documentation and reporting
About You:
Registered Teacher with relevant qualifications
Proven experience working with students with complex needs and disabilities
Knowledge and experience with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
Skilled in trauma-informed and strength-based practices
Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
Warm, energetic and adaptive with a growth mindset
Confident using visual supports, sensory strategies, and regulation tools
