Role description


This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing ASAP with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Across the State, Regional Education Offices are responsible for supporting schools in the metropolitan and rural areas by promoting system initiatives, providing support and quality assurance and ensuring consistency in the implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the outcomes of schooling.

The Role

The Senior Participation Coordinator supports the Engagement and Transition Manager achieve effective re-engagement and transitions of students between school, training and work. They assist with planning, communication and support of Participation Coordinators.

If successful, you will train, coach, mentor and support Participation Coordinators within the region, coordinate and monitor workloads and may performance manage various team members. Within the role you will hold a caseload and be required to communicate, monitor and report on implementation of pathway plans, and provide feedback to the Engagement and Transition Manager.
