Wyong Christian Community School invites applications from suitably aligned candidates to serve young people in secondary school and their families with a quality, Biblically-based education that is characterised by excellence, integrity, respect, service and compassion. Wyong Christian Community School is a ministry of Wyong Baptist Church.

Applications are invited from qualified Secondary Teachers with a strong commitment to Christian Education.  The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students enabling them to achieve their God-given potential. This is currently a Stage 4 and 5 position with the scope to teach Stage 6 in future years. Applicants need to have a current WWCC and appropriate NESA Accreditations.

In their applications, candidates should:

  • affirm a personal belief in the school’s Statement of Faith, as well as active involvement within their local church;
  • display a high standard of competency, proficiency and innovation within the classroom, empowering students to creatively express themselves;
  • provide evidence of exemplary teaching skills together with sound curriculum knowledge from Stage 4 to Stage 6;
  • be an effective and reflective practitioner who displays strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • be committed to pedagogical advancement in their classroom; and
  • demonstrate strong administrative skills, with high flexibility and adaptability.
