Role description
The IT Officer is accountable to the IT Manager (SSO 4) for the provision of day-to-day technical support services that contribute to the reliable and effective operation of the school's ICT environment. The role supports the delivery of ICT services across the school's Curriculum and Administration networks, maintains and repairs the device fleet, manages help desk requests, and provides direct ICT assistance to students and staff. The IT Officer works as part of a two-person ICT support team, contributing to a service-focused culture and supporting the educational and administrative outcomes of Heathfield High School.
Please note the salary amount may differ from that advertised. Salary is dependent upon your current employment status with the Department for Education, tenure and hours per week. The salary stated is based on an employee working 52 weeks per annum, full time equivalent. The successful applicant will be employed under the appropriate mode of employment.
