Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - Graduate $86,600 to Lead Teacher $147,048 FTE Gross per annum + 2 POL Points ($6,512 per annum FTE) and 12.75% super

Good Counsel Primary School
Good Counsel Catholic Primary School (GCPS), established in 1903, is located in the centre of Innisfail township at 96 Rankin Street. Innisfail is the largest business centre on the Cassowary Coast in Far North Queensland with a population of approximately 10,000. The picturesque township is situated at the junction of the North and South Johnstone Rivers, about five km from the coast and 90km south of Cairns which services a domestic and international airport.
GCP is the largest Primary School in the Innisfail District with a current cohort of 350 students. The school has two streams for each year level from Prep to Year 6. Our school offers a dynamic and engaging curriculum designed to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in every student.
