Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

Lakeland Senior High School (SHS) is a thriving school community. Extracurricular programs are in abundance and after school homework classes are well attended. Staff are highly committed and seek to develop friendly and supportive working relationships with students. A major school goal is to become the school of choice for most of the youth living in the district. In working towards this goal, the school has excelled in many areas and developed programs that engender success.

The Role

The major component of this role includes administering first aid and actively contributing to the wellbeing of students, staff, and volunteers, in compliance with relevant Occupational Safety and Health Legislation. The successful applicant would play a key role in student health planning and implementation, promotion, and evaluation of the school's health and wellbeing programs and frameworks. They will assist in developing strategies to reduce the risk of injury and harm.
