Xavier College invites applications from an experienced and compassionate Inclusive Education Coordinator to join the founding leadership of our brand new Riverlea Park Campus (R–6), opening in January 2027.
This position is classified as a POR3, commencing January 2027 for a fixed-period of 4 years. This role includes a full-time, permanent teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.
In this key leadership role, you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the College's Inclusive Education Program, ensuring students with diverse, complex and additional learning needs are supported to achieve positive academic, social and emotional outcomes. You will work collaboratively with leadership, teaching staff, Education Support Officers (ESOs), families and external agencies to foster inclusive practices and enhance student engagement, wellbeing and learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of the College's Inclusive Education Program
- Providing strategic leadership of inclusive education, including oversight of NCCD processes, Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs), reasonable adjustments and compliance requirement
- Leading and supporting Education Support Officer – Curriculum (ESO) staff through effective communication, professional learning and the strategic allocation of in-class support
