Xavier College invites applications from a strategic and highly experienced Assistant Principal – Teaching, Learning and Wellbeing to join the founding leadership of our brand new Riverlea Campus (R–6), opening in January 2027.
This position is classified as a POR4, commencing as soon as possible for a fixed-period of 4 years. This role includes a full-time, permanent teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.
In this key senior leadership role, you will foster a culture of belonging, high expectations and holistic student development across the campus. Working in partnership with the Campus Principal and leadership team, you will lead school improvement across teaching, learning and wellbeing through strategic oversight of curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, student wellbeing, staff development and operational and compliance processes to support improved outcomes for all learners.
As Assistant Principal – Teaching, Learning and Wellbeing, you will:
- Lead the strategic direction and continuous improvement of teaching, learning and wellbeing, including curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices aligned with contemporary research and system requirements
