Xavier College invites applications from a passionate Catholic leader for the position of Assistant Principal - Religious Identity and Mission (APRIM) to join the founding leadership of our brand new Riverlea Park Campus (R–6), opening in January 2027.

This APRIM role, commencing Term 4, 2026 is for a fixed-period of 4 years. This role includes a full-time, permanent teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.

In this key leadership role, you will work collaboratively with the Campus Principal and staff to nurture and strengthen the Catholic identity and Salesian charism of the College. You will provide leadership in faith formation, Religious Education and the liturgical life of the campus, fostering a vibrant faith community where students and staff are encouraged to grow spiritually, academically and personally.

As the APRIM, you will:

  • Lead and nurture the Catholic identity and Salesian charism of the College, helping students, staff and families encounter faith in meaningful and contemporary ways
  • Guide the delivery of high-quality Religious Education, supporting engaging teaching, learning and assessment practices aligned with the RE Curriculum
  • Lead the prayer, liturgical and sacramental life of the campus, creating opportunities for spiritual growth and faith formation across the school community
