Role description


This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

Two Rocks Primary School (PS) is committed to delivering quality schooling for our community. We cater for over 450 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Students' needs are met by the school, a highly supportive administrative team, professional teachers and support staff.

We have beautiful grounds with ocean views. Our gardens have been greatly enhanced by the construction of our Kitchen Garden which has an outdoor learning area and offers opportunities to integrate art, cooking and sustainability practices into the school's teaching and learning program.

The Role

The successful applicant would ideally provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. You should ideally maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean and tidy condition, and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management. The successful applicant ideally would perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener - Handyperson duties in accordance with the Department’s policies and guidelines.

The successful applicant should display effective communication skills, be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and external stakeholders and ideally be able to work unsupervised, with the ability to identify and recognise work that is required to be completed.
