Our Opportunity
We are seeking an Executive Director – Aboriginal Children and Young People who will work alongside the Office of Aboriginal Policy and Practice within the Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) to lead system-wide reform and improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and young people across Tasmania.
This role works closely with senior leaders, Aboriginal community-controlled organisations and government to embed Aboriginal voices, strengthen cultural governance and improve systems and services.
You will work with sensitivity to cultural, political and organisational contexts, using your experience and judgement to build strong partnerships and lead meaningful change.
