Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026

Founded in 1980, Cecil Andrews College is situated in the fast-developing City of Armadale, in the locality of Seville Grove.

This is an opportunity for a highly effective and motivated person to join the Student Services team, in which the position supports the college Student Services Managers and Year coordinators in providing information and guidance to students contributing to enhancing student wellbeing.

Over the years we have grown catering for a diverse student body. We offer Specialist Arts, Specialist AFL and STEM Programs, as well as delivering TAFE certificate courses and offering traineeships and apprenticeship links for students whilst completing their secondary education. We make it our priority to foster a wide range of pathways to university, TAFE, further training and the workplace.

The Role

This is an opportunity to contribute to work that genuinely changes outcomes for young people. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting students, families and staff through coordinated, practical and compassionate support systems that strengthen engagement, wellbeing and success at school.

The Student Support Officer assists in coordinating the school’s student services and contributes to developing responsive systems that support students overall wellbeing by identifying social, emotional, behavioural or engagement challenges.
