Role description
About the role
Catherine McAuley College Bendigo is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Instrumental Music Tutor specialising in Guitar to join our vibrant and growing Music program.
We welcome applications from experienced tutors and graduate teachers who are passionate about developing students’ confidence, skills, and love of music.
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
- Provide high-quality one-on-one and small-group tuition in Guitar
- Support performance opportunities including concerts, ensembles, liturgical celebrations, and College events
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive Music team
- Work with students across a range of year levels and learning needs
- Assist with ensemble direction where appropriate (desirable but not essential)
Instrumental music teaching hours are generally determined by student demand; however, for Term 3, this position will require availability for two days per week.
Lessons and ensembles are currently scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays. While some flexibility may be possible for the successful applicant, availability on these days is strongly preferred to support studio access and coordination with other staff.
