Details: Majura Primary School is located in Canberra's north. Majura Primary has an enrolment of approximately 770 students across both the primary and preschool sites. Majura Primary School is committed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff and visitors.
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and proactive Building Service Officer (BSO) with a strong interest in facilities, ground maintenance and compliance, who enjoys hands-on work and supporting the school community.
The BSOs primary role is to maintain general cleaning and maintenance and address safety and security issues as they arise, and contribute to maintaining a safe, tidy, and welcoming school environment. The BSO is required to coordinate and complete required work to the building, fixtures, fittings, furniture and equipment or organise and oversee work and respond to urgent maintenance needs in line with Work Health and Safety standards. Develop, coordinate and implement an annual maintenance program ensuring regular communication and liaison with the Business Manager.
