Role description
Darling Downs South West Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
An opportunity is available for a School Officer with responsibility for grounds and facilities. This role involves the effective management and organisation of the school’s scenic grounds, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard and continue to enhance the school’s natural charm. The school features substantial landscaped areas and gardens that contribute to its scenic setting.
In addition to grounds maintenance, the successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep of school buildings and infrastructure, including identifying maintenance needs and coordinating repair notifications. The role also involves the inspection and weekly maintenance of a small agricultural area used as a teaching resource, which is separate from the main grounds and facilities.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.60FTE), 46 hours per fortnight
