Role description

This newly established role will lead the development of innovative careers and pathways programs, fostering strong partnerships with families, tertiary providers, employers and industry to support successful post-school outcomes for every student.

Reporting to the Head of Teaching & Learning (Secondary), the Careers Coordinator leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a comprehensive careers and pathways program that supports students to make informed decisions about their future education, training and employment opportunities.
The Careers Coordinator works collaboratively with students, families, staff, tertiary providers, employers and industry partners to foster career development, pathway exploration and future readiness. Through the provision of career education, individual guidance, workplace learning opportunities and transition support, the role empowers students to identify their strengths, aspirations and goals, and successfully navigate pathways to university, vocational education, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment.
