Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
West Leederville Primary School (PS) is located 3km west of the Perth central business district and was founded in 1898. It has a strong sense of community, and values collaborative partnerships in the delivery of education. Students, staff, and parents work together to support, enhance and develop a positive school environment. West Leederville enjoys a particularly strong parent and community involvement through the Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and the School Board.

The Role
The School Officer is a key member of the front office, responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the school. This role provides administrative, financial, and customer service support within a fast‑paced environment. As the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members, the School Officer should maintain a professional and welcoming front office, responds to enquiries, prepares correspondence, manages student records, and assists with enrolment and attendance processes. Ideally, suitable applicants will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, display attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
