Chester Hill North Public School is a Kindergarten to Year 6 primary school with an enrolment of 421 students, including 75% from English as an Additional Language or Dialect and 2.6% from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. The teachers, wellbeing staff and specialist support teams work closely with families to ensure every child thrives.CHNPS is a vibrant and inclusive school community and provides Aboriginal Education Programs, High Potential & Gifted Education (HPGE), Inclusive Education Unit (3 Autism classes), Community Hub and an On-site Hearing Team.
The Itinerant Support Teacher Hearing (ISTH) based at CHNPS supports students who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing across a range of school settings, including those prior to school-age, preschool, primary school, high school, schools for specific purposes (SSP) and support classes…
