Senior School Psychologist
Permanent 0.8FTE – 1.0FTE position
Commencing August 2026
Hale School is Western Australia’s oldest independent boys’ school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48-hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced, and well-qualified professionals for the position of Senior School Psychologist commencing in August 2026.
The successful applicant will meet the following Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and respectfully with senior school boys (Years 7-12).
- The capacity to build and sustain positive, professional relationships with boys, staff and parents, underpinned by trust and clear communication.
- Demonstrate high levels of organisation, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, accurately and appropriately to a range of audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and proactively, managing priorities effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to contribute collaboratively as part of a team, supporting a positive and professional working environment.
Have the following Qualifications, Experience and Accreditation
Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology.
