Role description
This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing as soon as possible with possible extension and/or permanency
Carnarvon Community College (CC) is proud to be an Independent Public School serving students and families of all ages across the entire town of Carnarvon. Our College is committed to becoming a leader in education in Western Australia. We want to be known as not only the school of choice in Carnarvon, but a school that is recognised throughout the state as leader in teaching practice. As a College we are committed to the Health and Wellbeing of our entire community, as well as developing exceptional instructional practice in our staff.
Our Kindergarten through year 12 offerings is supplemented by our outstanding KindiLink program targeting students up to 3 years old and their parents. We are also supported directly on site by our Clontarf Academy and the Shooting Stars program for girls. In addition to this, aspirant Aboriginal students are able to access additional academic support through our Follow the Dream academy. Further offerings include our College Band, the Bushrangers program and the Performing Arts expertise provide by the Australian Girls Choir through the Girls from Oz.
We explicitly teach our students social skills so they can demonstrate our values of Unity, Respect and Success. We are a proud Positive Behaviour Support school.
