Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Pre-Prep through to Year 12, with co-educational Pre-Prep offering. Somerville House is seeking a highly proficient, self-driven and organised Finance Officer to join our Finance Team on a permanent, full-time basis. Operational working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm.

This position will see you working collaboratively across the Finance team providing accounts payable processing and month-end bookkeeping support, office administration and assistance in the end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing!

About You

• Have you worked across a broad range of core accounting functions, such as processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting month‑end activities?
• Do you have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a commitment to providing great customer service to stakeholder groups?
• Are you looking for a challenge where you can be exposed to end-to-end fortnightly payroll?
• Can you balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment?
