About the Role

The Executive Officer provides high-level administrative, coordination and strategic support to the Executive Director, Services for Children, Young People and Families. The role is central to the effective day-to-day operation of the office, including managing workflows, coordinating correspondence, undertaking general administrative tasks, and supporting projects and priorities.
 
Working in a fast-paced and sensitive environment, the Executive Officer builds strong relationships across the Department and with external stakeholders. The role requires sound judgement, discretion and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and professionalism. This position suits a highly organised and proactive individual who can support senior leaders in delivering critical services for children, young people and families.
