Primary objective

The Senior Policy Officer provides high level strategic coordination advice, research and support on a wide variety of policy governance, development, review and publishing activities. This includes advice regarding national and Northern Territory imperatives and other policy mechanisms that are managed by the Operational Policy team.

Context statement

The Quality Standards and Regulation (QSR) branch strengthens outcomes for children and young people through robust education and care compliance, standards, and regulation. QSR works with stakeholders to support the Territory’s education and care sector to operate effectively within legislation, policy and best practice.
