Primary objective

As a member of the educational leadership team, provide high level leadership in curriculum development and delivery and monitoring to achieve optimal educational outcomes for students in programs for Preschool to Year 12. The Senior Teacher is the educational leader and coordinator overseeing the implementation of NTSDE, VET and pathways to employment including work experience.

Context statementBatchelor Area School and Outdoor Education Centre are situated 96 kilometres south of Darwin. The school has a population of 110 and caters for students from Preschool to Year 12, comprising of 73% Indigenous students. Leadership focuses on building teacher capacity to deliver evidence-based practices in literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing.
