Primary objective
Provide sound operational advice and information relating to Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment (CPA), including the use of a range of web-based corporate systems, collection of relevant data and development of high-level unit reporting.

Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) provides evidence-based differentiated services and support to schools to maximise outcomes for Territory children and young people. Our services encompass quality teaching and learning, national and systemic assessment, transition to boarding school support and policy coordination. TLS also plays a strategic role in implementing government priorities, offering expert advice to the Minister for Education and Training and the department’s senior executives.
