Role description

The Opportunity 

We are seeking dedicated Education Support Officers (Curriculum) to join our supportive and collaborative teaching and learning team. In this role, you will work closely with students, both individually and in groups, to enhance learning outcomes in areas such as EALD support, literacy, and numeracy. 

These are fixed term, part-time positions for up to 27.5 hours per week over 5 days, across 40 weeks of the school year. The contract will commence on 20 July 2026 and conclude 11 December 2026. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborating with the Assistant Principal – Learning and Inclusion to support students learning and engagement. 
  • Assisting classroom teachers with learning programs for students with additional needs. 
  • Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and the wider staff community.
  • Providing supervision and support during excursions and incursions. 
  • Assisting in the daily operations of the school. 

 

About You 

We are seeking someone who is passionate about inclusive education and have experience in supporting student learning, particularly for those with diverse needs.  

You bring: 

  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting. 
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and capable of building strong relationships with teachers and students alike. 
  • Confidence in assisting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs 
  • Positivity, patience and approachable with students and staff 

The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN.
