Blackfriars is seeking passionate and dedicated Middle Years / Secondary Teacher for fixed-term contract commencing 20 July 2026 and concluding 9 December 2026.

Learning Areas: Science and Mathematics
Contract Dates: 20 July 2026 – 9 December 2026
Note: There may be the possibility of ongoing employment, subject to operational needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be expected to:

• Plan and deliver comprehensive learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Respond to students’ varying intellectual, emotional and physical needs.
• Foster positive and effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Create a safe, orderly and supportive learning environment.
• Implement behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies.
• Accurately assess, record and report student achievement.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interviews and other school events.
