Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances pro rata

 

Join our team as a Primary Teacher at St Clare's Catholic School,Townsville! 

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team every Tuesday (6 hours a week) from 14th July to 1st December 2026. To be successful, you will need a tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. 

In this unique role, you’ll be teaching Year 1, joining a supportive team of dedicated educators who work closely with families to create the best possible learning experience for every child. Your knowledge of contemporary teaching practices, combined with your ability to adapt and nurture a diverse range of learners, will ensure that each student feels included, valued, and confident as they begin their educational journey.

In your classroom, you’ll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting clear expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving. You’ll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student’s progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
