Location Profile

Wycheproof P-12 College is situated in the small rural town of Wycheproof which is on the Calder Highway approximately half-way between Melbourne and Mildura. The school provides a comprehensive curriculum for approximately 85 students from Prep to Year 12. Great pride is taken by the College community in the success of our students in many areas including the VCE and other post-compulsory educational programs. In 2026, our school will celebrate it¿s sesquicentennial (150 years of educating the children of this community). Students are drawn from the surrounding areas of Wycheproof and Nullawil and as such they are strongly connected to the communities in which they live. The College takes advantage of the P-12 concept with specialist staff providing classes at each level of schooling. Staff operations and a common social room ensure the staff work as a whole. A team environment is important to us. We are committed to providing a safe, happy and positive environment, with high standards of student behaviour expected and encouraged. Our current Strategic Plan focuses on creating the best possible learning environment for all our students, challenging them to pursue success and excellence in all activities. To achieve this, we aim to improve teaching and learning throughout the College, ensuring that our students leave our school literate, numerate, socially competent and well-prepared to progress to further education or employment.
