We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team. This role will involve a combination of EAL tutoring and Classroom teaching. The start date for the successful applicant will be open to negotiation with our preference being to start on the 27th July 2026. 

Yarraman Oaks Primary School is a small school (approx. 230 learners) situated in a quiet pocket of Noble Park with quick access to Eastlink and Monash freeways, as well as convenient access to public transport (both bus and train). We have a friendly staff and an active community of parents and carers. Situated on 3 hectares, we have plenty of space for our learners to play and explore. We have designated Junior and Senior learning communities and playground areas. We also have our own Kindergarten on site and offer both Before and After School Care programs!

At Yarraman Oaks Primary School we deliver Literacy learning using a structured literacy approach supported by the Science of Reading. We offer a program that promotes skill development in Reading and Viewing, Writing, Speaking and Listening in a supportive and stimulating environment. Planning is based on the Victorian Curriculum and is supported by best practices around literacy acquisition. We use the Little Learners Love Literacy Systematic Synthetic Phonics (SSP) program to develop Phonological & Phonemic Awareness.
