Role description
Selection Criteria
SC1 Demonstrated high level knowledge as well as an interest in and capacity to promote reading, literacy and digital literacies. Demonstrated experience and skills in Library and Resource Centre management, problem solving and the ability to prioritise.
SC2 Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems, computer software or technical equipment as relevant to the position i.e. Compass, Google Suite
SC3 Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively, positively and diplomatically with a range of people including school staff, students, parents and the wider community while working independently and without constant supervision.
SC4 Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to lead the work of staff and actively contribute to a team to develop, implement and assess the effectiveness of Library & Resource Centre Operations. Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to the development of the whole school program.
SC5 Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate unexpected challenges, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in meeting the evolving needs and circumstances of the school environment. Demonstrated capacity to contribute to the culture of a school.
