While our preference is for a full time teacher - we are also open to job share arrangments should you be unable to teach fulltime.

Ivanhoe Primary School is located in a residential area in Melbourne's North Eastern suburbs and has provided education to the local community for over 160 years. Student enrolments are anticipated to be approximately 560 in 2026.

The school's teaching spaces and general classrooms are spread across various buildings. The original in1923 building houses an administration block and 10 classrooms. The building is complemented by 12 relocatable classrooms. A `Building Education Revolution' school hall was added in 2010 and provides facilities for performing arts and physical education. In 2018 the first of two flexible learning spaces was completed "The Treehouse" and currently houses our Foundation students. In 2021 the school completed a second major capital works project delivering eight new permanent classrooms "The Beehive" that reduced the number of relocatable buildings and resulted in an increased outdoor play space. These significant additions to the infrastructure of the school have served to also free up valuable space for programs such as: Strings, Structured Literacy Groups and the Tutor Learning Initiative.
