Role

  • The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintenance of the College buildings and grounds
  • The role supports management of OHS systems to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors
  • Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role provides expert support and advice to school leadership on facilities management, OHS compliance and asset maintenance
  • The position combines hands-on maintenance responsibilities with the coordination of contractors
  • Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:06pm
  • Attendance outside of standard hours and during school holiday periods may be required from time to time

Responsibilities

Facilities & Grounds Maintenance

  • Ensure all buildings and grounds are maintained to a high standard, are safe, functional and well presented, with all work undertaken in accordance with OHS requirements and Department standards
  • Undertake a broad range of hands-on maintenance works across the College, including minor carpentry, painting, patching, basic plumbing repairs, furniture repairs, equipment maintenance and general upkeep of buildings and outdoor areas.
