Role description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026

Darling Range Sports College is a highly successful comprehensive Independent Public School with a student population of around 1,100 and over 120 teaching and support staff. Darling Range Sports College first opened in 1975 as Forrestfield Senior High School and later transitioned to a sports college in 2008. It is unique in Western Australia as the only sports college in the state.

As an Independent Public School, we provide specialist sporting programs in Australian Football League (AFL), athletics, baseball, basketball, netball, rugby league, soccer, swimming and triathlon and in 2023, we will be incorporating Australian Football League Woman (AFLW). Our teams train and play in our state of the art facilities where athletes also have access to the strength and conditioning centre.

The Role

The successful applicant will develop and establish quality and innovative Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs whilst enabling students to achieve Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), strengthen the link between industry, other schools and community agencies.
