Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Under teacher direction, an Education Assistant - Special Needs assists in the education programs and should promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment. They assist teachers in the delivery of planned education programs to assist students to reach their full potential through the development of their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills. The ideal applicants should have experience supporting students with English as Additional Language / Dialect (EALD).
