Xavier Catholic College, Llandilo are seeking an experienced and committed Teacher to be part of our school community on a permanent full-time basis. This position will attract a 1 Point Coordinator allowance, you will be working as a Team Leader Assessment & Literacy on a full time basis to lead and coordinate literacy and assessment initiatives across the school to improve student learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of evidence-based literacy practices aligned with curriculum requirements and school priorities.
- Collaborate with school leaders and teaching staff to analyse assessment data and identify strategies for student growth.
- Build teacher capacity through coaching, mentoring and professional learning focused on literacy instruction and assessment practices.
- Coordinate whole-school assessment processes, ensuring consistency, accuracy and effective use of data.
- Monitor student achievement trends and work with staff to develop targeted interventions and support programs.
- Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of literacy improvement plans and school-based initiatives.
