About the Role
The PeopleSoft Technical Officer plays a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisation’s PeopleSoft HR and Global Payroll systems. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining technical solutions, working closely with functional analysts and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.
The role is required to perform tasks that include but are not limited to:

implementing system improvements to the PeopleSoft HR/Global Payroll system including:
- interpretation of functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications to support technical analysis, along with experience in the development and unit testing of system enhancements, including retrofitting
- providing SIT and UAT support and defect resolution during these test phases
- deployment of changes to Production and providing ongoing post-implementation support
- identifying and performing manual workarounds for incidents that cannot be solved promptly
- being the first point of contact for technical system support to the business key stakeholders and end-users
- fostering and maintaining relationships and educate key internal and external stakeholders and end-users
- researching, interviewing, investigating or consulting with others on ideas/alternatives to advise or recommend system improvements
