Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated ability to support students and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds in an inclusive school environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Chinese and English language skills are required. 
• Well-developed administrative and organisational skills, including record keeping, attendance monitoring, and meeting coordination. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining confidentiality and supporting student wellbeing and engagement.

Role Description

The International Students Program Support / Multicultural Aide provides administrative, cultural, and wellbeing support to international students and students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Working under the direction of the International Student Coordinator (ISC) and Assistant Principal (AP), the role assists students and families to engage successfully with the school community while supporting the administration of the International Student Program.

• Provide targeted support to international and multicultural students to assist their understanding of lesson content, instructions, and classroom routines. 
• Support students with English language development through clarification, reinforcement of key concepts, and encouragement of classroom participation.
