Location Profile

Merriang Special Developmental School is a dual campus, government specialist school located in the City of Whittlesea.

The Later Years Campus and main administration offices are located in Duncan Road Lalor and is attended by secondary aged students, whilst primary aged students attend the Early Years Campus located in South Morang.

Selection Criteria

SC1 
Demonstrated experience in effective student record management, activity recording, assessment and care planning.

SC2 
Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team, to accept supervision as required and to provide advice to leadership in respect to the work area.

SC3 
Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills.

SC4 
Possess the technical knowledge, skills and expertise relevant to working as a health care professional in a school.

SC5 
Ability to supervise individual and small groups of students in the First Aid facility.
